A bunch of animal rescues shared photos of a cute little pup on the internet. A lady happened to come across him and took a snapshot which she then shared on social media.
This furry friend belongs to the amstaff breed and has a strong stance, making him quite immovable. It’s unclear what caused his condition, but it’s possible that he may have been shot while in a wooded area.
This adorable pup’s tail is in a constant state of motion, showing just how lovable he truly is. It appears that his previous owner may have abandoned him in this sad state, as indicated by the noticeable cuts to his ears.
This guy’s name is Alphonzo. The x-rays show that a tumor has formed, just like we thought. He’s in a lot of pain and his leg looks really messed up. Also, it smells pretty bad.
To ensure that there are no metastases, the vet will conduct additional examinations such as blood tests, chest x-rays and a CT scan. It is highly likely that the animal will require amputation of one of its limbs.
With an endless supply of tail wags and kisses galore, he never fails to brighten everyone’s day. And with his hearty appetite, it’s clear that he’s a happy and healthy pup.
The doctors conducted a chest x-ray on him, but fortunately, the results did not show any metastasis. However, he has to undergo leg amputation, and he is receiving treatment through an IV. Even though his blood tests indicate that he is anemic, we have to proceed with the limb amputation immediately without further delay.
After going through a long and exhausting procedure which lasted all night, he was rescued. The process involved getting rid of a tumor that weighed 6 kilograms and amputating one of his front legs.
Alphonzo is now in good health after spending four days at the facility. He has a strong spirit and determination, which will help him succeed in life. Despite being anemic, his condition can be managed with a proper diet and supplements. Merima, a veterinary nurse, is personally taking care of him.
He has successfully fought through a challenging treatment and can now look forward to leading a happy and fulfilling life. He hopes to connect with someone who will appreciate him just as much as they value themselves. It’s been a month since Alphonzo received his treatment, and he’s doing phenomenally well. His injury is healing flawlessly, and there are no complications. He’s an absolute joy to be around and loves spending time with people, kids, dogs, and cats alike.
When the program for spaying and neutering pets for free starts again, he will already be almost a year old.
I sincerely wish that this little one finds a loving home through adoption. It’s heartwarming to see how grateful he is for the help he’s receiving and the love that Meri and Franjo are showering on him.
