Dibs is undoubtedly a dog with two great loves in his life: his family and snow. It was during his first winter with his new family that they realized how much he adores the cold, white flurries. As a former stray, Dibs was used to spending time outside, so his owners initially let him play in the snow, and it was then that they saw how much he revels in it. Dibs would go absolutely wild with joy, happily jumping and rolling around in the powdery goodness for hours on end, never seeming to tire of its icy allure.

Eventually, the family came to the conclusion that it was best for Dibs to stay indoors permanently to avoid any possible dangers. However, knowing how much their feline friend loved playing in the snow, they didn’t want him to miss out on his favorite activity. That’s when they came up with a unique solution – bringing the snow to Dibs! Nate Troy, Dibs’ loving cat-dad, decided to shovel a bunch of snow and bring it inside their enclosed porch where Dibs could safely enjoy it to his heart’s content.

Dibs couldn’t contain his delight! He was absolutely thrilled as he began playing in the snow pile that was exclusively his. His family could see how happy it made him and decided to make it a regular thing. Whenever it snows, they create a huge pile of snow just for Dibs and watch him enjoy it to the fullest.

They would go to great lengths just to ensure that their feline friend, Dibs, is content. From the moment Troy discovered Dibs as an abandoned kitten in a parking area, the family has been smitten with him.

From the very beginning, he had a way with people that couldn’t be ignored. That’s what ultimately persuaded Troy to take him in, despite Troy’s well-known allergy to cats. The little stray was simply too endearing to resist, and Troy knew he had to make him a part of his family.
