A homeless feline sought refuge in a household, seeking assistance to give birth to her young ones in a secure environment.
Jen’s Bottle Babies: A Home for a Stray Cat and Her Kittens
In the recent past, Sandy from Arizona caught sight of a stray cat in her backyard. The cat, who had been roaming the streets for some time, found its way to Sandy’s house in search of food. Sandy was happy to oblige, and the cat enjoyed a full meal and fresh water. While feeding her, Sandy noticed a bulge around the cat’s belly, leading her to believe that the feline might be pregnant. Once the cat finished eating, she approached Sandy for some affection and even followed her on the porch, seemingly eager to stay. It became clear that the cat needed a safe home for her soon-to-be-born kittens, and Sandy couldn’t bear to leave her outside to fend for herself and her babies. This is where Jin’s Bottle Babies came into the picture – a place where this sweet kitty and her kittens could find refuge.
Sandy took in the amiable tabby into a spare bedroom to ensure that her litter of kittens did not have to experience the outdoors. The affectionate feline appeared comfortable as she settled on the floor and rested her head on a cozy blanket. She stretched her paws and toes while emitting delightful purrs, almost as if she sensed that she was in capable hands.
Sandy, the pregnant cat, was thrilled to finally have a warm and cozy place to rest. She joyfully rolled around on every blanket given to her, eagerly requesting belly rubs. In order to ensure that Sandy and her soon-to-be-born kittens received the best care and loving homes, Sandy reached out to Jen, a foster volunteer for Jin’s Bottle Babies. Jen expressed her delight in being able to assist Sandy during this important time. She explained that Sandy had messaged her to ask for guidance, and the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
Sandy had an unexpected but delightful surprise when she returned home a few days later. She found her furry friend with five adorable and healthy little ones, all cuddled up and nursing from their loving mother. The birth had taken place on St. Patrick’s Day, and so the litter was named after different hues of green. The family consisted of Momma Jade and her cute little ones – Hunter, Emerald, Kelly, Olive, and Forest.
Jen from Jin’s Bottle Babies welcomed a family of six into their care on a Friday. The mother of the litter was friendly and approached Jen for chin scratches when she arrived to pick them up. After settling into their new home, one of the kittens named Jade, eagerly sought affection from her foster mom and enjoyed the endless supply of food and cozy blankets available.
Jen from Jin’s Bottle Babies shared her experience with Jade, a new addition to their furry family. According to Jen, Jade adapted quickly to her new surroundings and was always curious about what was going on around her. Whenever Jen entered the room, Jade would chirp and follow her around. Despite being a new mom, Jade was comfortable with Jen handling her babies, allowing her to weigh them and change their beddings. Overall, Jen was delighted with how well Jade settled in and appreciated her gratitude for the care she received.
Jen from Jin’s Bottle Babies shared that the little ones are thriving and putting on weight at a rapid pace. While they feed, Jade the momma cat purrs and snuggles up with her litter, resulting in adorable naps. Jen also mentioned that Jade chirps while tailing her and answers her questions with meows that sometimes sound like a definite “no”.
Jen is currently taking care of the cat family at Jin’s Bottle Babies, and they are doing well under her supervision. In addition to fostering these felines, the rescue is also actively trying to spay and neuter the stray cats in the surrounding area. Momma Jade is one of the cats under Jen’s care, and while she is affectionate towards her kittens, she has yet to experience lap time. However, Jen believes that once the kittens are grown and more self-sufficient, Momma Jade will become a cuddle-bug.
At Jin’s Bottle Babies, Jen shared her excitement about a kitten who loves chin rubs and winding between her legs for snacks. As the kittens grow older, Jen plans to move the comfy chair into their room where she hopes the little one will climb into her lap. These cute kittens are just one week old and already opening their eyes while momma Jade takes great care of them by showering them with hugs and keeping them clean.
Jen, the owner of Jin’s Bottle Babies, was a lifesaver for Jade when she was in need of a secure place for her babies. It was fortunate that Jade knew exactly where to go when she found out she was pregnant. The fact that these animals are open to receiving assistance from humans is truly remarkable and heartwarming. It is an exceptional experience to be part of their nurturing process at Jin’s Bottle Babies.
