Thankfully, there are compassionate individuals who demonstrate that love can perform wonders by aiding the most vulnerable and helping them conquer hardship to find happiness. One such example is Puddin, a charming dog who had a difficult beginning in life. She was rescued by her previous owners in Texas, USA at the age of five months, but sadly, they neglected her and six weeks later, she passed away due to an eye infection that caused her to lose her sight. When Puddin arrived at the Texas Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), she was fully blind since she lost her eyesight at a young age. Her eyes had to be surgically removed, and her eye sockets were sewn back together. Cory Gonzales, a 22-year-old student from Lubbock, Texas, became Puddin’s new owner. Upon receiving her, Cory shared that Puddin was injured because her previous owners refused to give her up despite not providing her with proper care.
The animal welfare group faced delays in bringing the case to court, and unfortunately, Puddin lost her eyesight by the time justice was served. The SPCA found Puddin suffering from a grave eye infection that had caused irreparable damage. A specialist confirmed that she would eventually become blind due to the infection’s severity. Upon further inspection, it became evident that Puddin was in a great deal of pain.
Puddin, despite his blindness, emanates an infectious happiness that is truly admirable. His love for life has won over the hearts of numerous social media users. To improve his quality of life, this little munchkin had to undergo the removal of his eyes. Cory, his owner, has been sharing Puddin’s exciting journey on Instagram since she adopted him three months ago. With more than 8,000 followers, Puddin has become quite the sensation on social media.
Puddin is adored by many for her ability to learn new tricks and bring joy into their lives. She is known as a brave girl who enjoys taking long naps, playing with her paws, and being held by her father, Cory. Upon discovering Puddin online, Cory fell in love with her and returned the next day to adopt her. Despite being five months old and blind, Puddin has adapted well to her new life and even avoids colliding with objects. Her lack of vision has not affected her ability to enjoy life, as she loves running, playing with toys, and using her sense of smell. For Cory, having Puddin as a pet is a blessing, and he is admired for loving and caring for animals in need. This story is truly touching and should continue to be shared.
