A skinny cat was seen wandering near a highway. She was eventually brought to an animal shelter where her future was uncertain. Despite waiting for several days, there was no one who came forward to claim her. Furthermore, she desperately needed medical attention which was not provided. As a result, she was put on a list for euthanasia.

Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a local rescue group based in Montreal, Canada, was informed about a small kitten’s plight and immediately offered to provide shelter for her. Despite being two years old, she was remarkably tiny and malnourished, with sores on her nose and crusts on her face. They affectionately named her Blanche-Neige – French for Snow White – after the famous fairy tale. The rescue group shared that Snow White was elated to receive attention, and despite being a bit timid, she handled her veterinary checkups like a champ, seeming to understand that they were there to help her.

It was apparent that she had a previous life with a family before she became homeless. Her condition when discovered made it challenging for her to survive the harsh conditions of the outdoors. However, with proper care and medical attention, she now has an opportunity to start anew. Snow White was treated for her infections and was given time to recover and rest.

After the spay surgery, the kitty was seen sporting a cone. Upon being taken in by her foster mom, Mathilde, she seemed overjoyed to finally have a proper home. Her foster mom ensured that she received the necessary treatment for her eye infection and was well taken care of during her recovery period.

After her traumatic experience, Snow White needed plenty of rest when she first arrived at her new home. But as soon as the cone was removed, she started to undergo a remarkable transformation. Her formerly dull and frizzy hair was restored to its former glory, giving her back the beauty that had been temporarily lost.

After a month of being saved, she was almost completely healed and her fur became smooth and glossy. Once she was fit, the caretakers cleaned her with a much-needed shower which uncovered her genuine fluffiness.

Over time, she gradually overcame her shyness and started flourishing. “Thanks to the excellent care she received, Snow White regained her confidence and became the reigning queen of the household. She adores being showered with affection.”

She added some pounds and increased her physical power.

Snow White is a furry friend who loves to be pampered by her human companions. She has a carefree life now that she doesn’t have to worry about finding food or being safe. Her main priority is receiving attention and spending quality time with her loved ones.

After being rescued from the brink of death, Snow White has transformed into a Persian-like feline with regular grooming and baths. Her once wandering ways seem to have faded away, and she now exudes an affectionate and gentle demeanor. It’s been nearly half a year since her rescue, and she has fully reverted back to her charming and true self.

The adorable and fluffy kitty is thoroughly enjoying her stay at the foster home and is looking forward to finding a peaceful abode where she can be showered with care, affection, and snuggles as the sole feline. It’s amazing how a second shot at life can transform one’s fortunes.
