In the November issue of Vanity Fair, Gal Gadot has made a stunning appearance. During an interview, the gorgeous star of “Wonder Woman” shared her past experiences in beauty pageants. She was once crowned Miss Israel and represented her country in the Miss Universe competition held in Ecuador. However, things might not have been so sensational if Gal Gadot had not mentioned that she had tried her best not to win the beauty pageant crown.

The Radiant Beauty of Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot faced criticism for sharing her beauty pageant experiences from the past, where she revealed how she tried to avoid winning during one competition. According to Gal, Paula Abdul, one of the judges, asked her to say something during the competition, but she purposely made her voice heavy and said, “Sorry, I don’t speak English.” Many criticized Gal for being selfish, fake, and arrogant when expressing her desire not to win. While other contestants were striving hard to shine and win the crown, Gal’s words seemed to deny all that, making people believe that she lost because she didn’t make an effort.
Some people believed that the Australian contestant was too strong that year, and even if Gal had tried her best, it would have been difficult for her to win. They felt that she shouldn’t have made unprofessional comments just to uplift herself. If she didn’t like it, she could have declined to participate or quit the competition instead of trying to lose.
This is not the first time Gal has talked about her beauty pageant experiences. In 2017, she shared with Rolling Stone that she never thought she would become Miss Israel. She said, “I told myself it was an experience and I had no idea that I would win.”
Gal Gadot has received criticism for being insincere and selfish by many people.
When she confessed, she did several things just to try not to win.
Aside from reminiscing about the past, Gal Gadot also spoke extensively about her upcoming movie “Wonder Woman” 1984 and her current career and life. The film is set to be released in December 2020. Gal Gadot has starred in several Hollywood blockbusters and continues to draw attention as she takes on the role of Queen Cleopatra in a new film.
