Several weeks ago, Hearts Bones Rescue sent a Shepherd mix that was found on the streets to Dallas Animal Services. The stray recently gave birth to a litter of 11 adorable puppies, but one of them caught everyone’s attention because of its unique feature – a mustache-like black marking on its face.
Consequently, the canine was bestowed with the moniker Salvador Dolly, which was inspired by the renowned Spanish artist Salvador Dali. Apart from his artistic abilities, Dali was also recognized for his unique facial hair style.
The shelter was overwhelmed with the number of stray animals that came in and the staff had to act fast to find them a permanent residence. Fortunately, a kind foster home agreed to host the family temporarily until they could be adopted by a loving family.
By the end of August, Salvador Dolly along with her siblings and mother will be ready for adoption. The little pups are being looked after with great care while they are still feeding off their mother. The mother dog is also being taken care of so that she remains healthy enough to look after her entire litter.
The ‘Mustache Puppy’ named Salvador Dolly has been receiving a lot of love and interest from people who want to adopt her. However, it will still take a few more weeks before she and her family get transported to New York for adoption. While the volunteers are happy for her, they also hope that her mother and ten other siblings will receive the same kind of attention and affection as Salvador Dolly.
All these furry creatures are seeking a place to call their own, and the best part is that they come with endless dog kisses, fluffy hugs, and unwavering love.
