It’s often said that “your dog will never turn its back on you, even if everyone else does.” This is why dogs are known as man’s best friend – they’ll always love and support you, no matter what. So when AJ, a loyal 6-year-old pup who had been through everything with his owner, was brought to Carson Animal Shelter in California along with his doggy brother Tony, it was a heartbreaking moment.

The pitbull-Labrador Retriever hybrid seems to be deeply saddened by the act of disloyalty. AJ can be observed shedding tears silently in the footage.

As AJ finds himself in a dire situation, tears flow down his furry cheeks. He’s stuck in an abnormally cold kennel and understands that he’s not wanted there. The shelter personnel describe him as a charming pooch with a lot of enthusiasm. When he and his brother Tony arrived at the shelter, they were both uncertain about what the future held for them, strolling in together.

The dog, AJ, remains inconsolable despite the comforting words of the shelter staff. Unfortunately, it has been revealed through a post on the Carson Animal Shelter’s Facebook that both AJ and Toby have been left behind by their previous owners due to financial difficulties preventing them from providing the necessary care for the poor animals.

After becoming an internet sensation, AJ received numerous requests from people who wanted to provide him with a loving home. His heartwarming story has transformed his tears into smiles. Luckily, a wonderful family adopted both AJ and Tony in February to ensure they would never have to be separated.
