Amidst the peaceful countryside, nestled amongst hills and whispering trees, lived a pair of inseparable siblings, a golden retriever named Max and his sister Bella. From the moment they opened their eyes to the world, they were bound by an unbreakable bond of love and companionship.

Max and Bella spent their days chasing butterflies through fields of wildflowers, frolicking in crystal-clear streams, and basking in the warmth of the sun. Their laughter echoed through the meadows, and their tails moved in perfect harmony. They were more than just pets; they were confidants, protectors, and each other’s closest friends.

As the years passed, their once limitless energy began to wane, and the signs of aging became more apparent. It was Bella who first felt the weight of time, her steps becoming slower, her eyes filled with wisdom. Max, always the vigilant brother, remained by her side, offering comfort and solace in the twilight of their lives.

This three-month-old puppy couldn’t bear to be apart from her deceased sibling after being hit by a vehicle. The desolate pup stayed with the deceased puppy for two days until a compassionate passerby buried her.

Witnesses to the scene in Pixia, Sichuan province in southwest China, reported seeing two dogs, one gray and one white, lying in the middle of the road.

The brown puppy was guarding his body against the gray door to prevent it from being hit by any passing car. He was jumping and barking at what seemed to be opening. He remained in the same position for many days until someone took them to a safe place on the side of the road.

Another member of the public dug a hole to bury the gray dog today. So, the dog’s sibling ran towards the hole, too hesitant to leave their companion.

Finally, the dog was recovered by the animal shelter employees.
