A few months back, the rescue team from Lega Del Cane Trani encountered a man who used to commute between Barketta and Trani in Italy. While on their way, they stumbled upon a suitcase that was damaged and lying on the side of the road, which made them suspect a possible terrible scenario. Upon examining the suitcase, they found a hapless puppy that had been left behind inside it. Although the puppy had trust issues due to digestive problems, they made an effort to aid it.

However, against all odds, they were able to bring the furry creature in for a medical check-up. The veterinarian’s examination revealed that the dog’s digestive system was obstructed by foreign objects like stones and animal hides. Furthermore, the dog was diagnosed with tissue necrosis, liver dysfunction, hyperparathyroidism, as well as anemia.

The dog named Kei had been unwell for a few weeks, but his condition improved significantly, especially in his head region. He can now stand on his feet without any support. The medical staff is providing him with the necessary care and medication to speed up his recovery process. After he has fully recovered, he will be available for adoption.
