Meet Wesley, the cute kitty who resembles a pirate with his one eye and charming smile. He used to spend his days in the shelter waiting for his forever home, but sadly, people would often overlook him. However, one fortunate day, he finally found someone who recognized the unique beauty of this precious little feline.

According to Wesley’s owner, they met for the first time a few days after the dog was taken to the shelter. The owner instantly fell in love with Wesley but couldn’t afford to take him home yet. They were also confident that Wesley would get adopted soon. This information was shared with Love Meow.

After a period of approximately six months, I revisited the shelter and was taken aback to notice that the dog I had left behind was still awaiting adoption. I learned that many individuals did not find him aesthetically pleasing and he had been categorized as special needs owing to his congestion problems.

“I brought him back to my place and from that moment on, the rest became a story for the ages.”

The origin story behind Wesley’s charming pirate appearance remains an enigma. According to his Instagram post, there are two plausible scenarios that may have led to his striking features. Either he was blessed with good looks from birth, or he encountered some kind of injury or mishap that resulted in his distinctive appearance. Despite the uncertainty surrounding his looks, Wesley’s human owner couldn’t resist his adventurous spirit and fell for him. Now, Wesley spends his days happily raiding his owner’s stash of hairbands and cat treats, living his best life as a swashbuckling pirate pup.

These days, he enjoys spending his lunch time chilling with his owner on the porch. He believes that it’s the small moments in life that truly matter.
